As is tradition, the Men’s Ministry programme year is wrapping up with a summer BBQ Saturday, June 6th. After another year of breakfast testimonies, learning at the annual retreat and living out our faith during the recently concluded Season of Service, it is time to relax, and have a time of fellowship and BBQ.
Weather permitting, lawn games and a social time will run from 3:30-5:30pm for anyone who wishes to participate. After the games and social time, a steak supper will be served followed by a short programme from 5:30-7:30pm. There will be a time of worship in song, and Larry Nielsen will offer a brief meditation as the speaker for the evening.
This is a great opportunity to invite a friend or bring a son to see what St James Men’s Ministry is all about. There is no charge, but a suggested $15 donation will help to cover all the costs for the event.
