Iron Sharpens Iron is a monthly men's group that is open to any guys who wish to drop in. This group provides an opportunity for informal discussion on various topics affecting the men of St James and the practicalities of living our lives as Christian men. And while Iron Sharpens Iron concerns itself with Biblical truth, it is not a Bible study, nor is it a purely theological discussion.
Each evening begins with a social time with coffee and snacks from 7:00-7:30pm to allow for a good chance to catch up with each other before we begin to get into a particular topic. We'll often begin with a presentation or video to direct the discussion for the evening. Using a very open format, we put our collective knowledge and experiences together to explore the topic so that we come away from the evening encouraged and challenged. We're always done by 9:00pm...
