When a person has been baptized at a very young age, or when a person is newly introduced to the Christian faith, a process of initial instruction is provided to ensure that the key concepts of the faith are understood. When this is completed, a person is then said to be "confirmed" in the faith. Confirmation classes are offered to senior high students both as preparation for confirmation and as an opportunity to develop the ability to defend the faith of one's baptism. Special classes are organized for adults as required.
