Intended for those who are relatively new to St. James or who simply want to know more about the parish, this four-week course describes how St. James lives out the Christian faith as a community. Each one-hour session will outline a topic that defines our parish with the opportunity for questions about anything that comes up during the presentation:

  1. Who We Are - a summary of what can be called the DNA of St. James.
  2. How We Worship - an exploration of the Sunday liturgy.
  3. How We Grow - an introduction to the various ways St. James encourages development and growth in the Christian faith.
  4. How We Serve - an open-ended investigation into how each person can live out the call of Jesus Christ to serve others, including an introduction to spiritual gifts.

Since these sessions will be held following the 10:00am service, we will provide a simple lunch for those who attend. Please note that a free-will offering will be taken to help cover the cost of the lunch.
