The Men’s Ministry season ends with a Saturday BBQ in June. The afternoon allows for lawn games, followed by supper of steaks or burgers, some music, some brief remarks to wrap up the season and a meditation.

Sharing meals has always been an important historical point in Christianity, whether it was Christ gathering with his disciples at the Last Supper or when Christians throughout the ages have gathered to share the Eucharist together. The summer barbecue is a final opportunity to celebrate the friendships made and the spiritual growth undertaken throughout the Men’s Ministry season while breaking bread together.

The day traditionally begins around 3:30pm with lawn games and a social time, with supper served in the Alexander Hall around 5:30pm. The evening concludes in prayer by 7:30pm.

The Spring BBQ is generally booked for the first Saturday in June. Further details will be announced in May.
